Personally, I'm on the fence, and I'm not buying either until about a year or so after release. I want to see how things pan out first. Wait for shit like red rings of death and yellow lights of death etc to show up, and for fixes/ preventive shit to come out.. let the price drop.. and then see what actually drops for what, and which system performs better.

Only thing ps has to offer is the god of war series IMO ... I love xbox's whole interface, Netflix and Hulu run so much smoother ( based off ps3 and 360 obviously ) so I assume it'll be the same on the next gen as well ... I do not like much of xbox exclusives, halo to me is horrid and that's their flagship but I use it more for entertainment then gaming

Funny part is I'll probably actually play the Wii U more then anything if and when I decide to snatch an xbox 1

didn't this happen initially because the first ps3 consoles were all backwards compatible with ps2, but then they scrapped that in later models, thus reducing the price?
