Oooh yeah. I will definitely do that soon. Haven't wrote anything lately. Been working on my beatmaking skills. But I will holler as soon as I get to it though. ;)

Immaculate 02-02-2013 10:56 PM

Dinky? That Australian term of a something.

Yes the Pacific. Although, Asia is the biggest continent, if I recall. LOL.

@Immaculate - cross-training update coming out today

Dope thread. Glad some heads dig rugby.

I started a team my sr. year in highschool, and played in college.....

...now I have tendinitis in my knee, a pinched nerve in my neck, and an uncanny pain tolerance which is only good for allowing me to look past any injury long enough to see the keg at the end lol....

I also gotta say --- while the differences may appear less extreme to most spectators, the only thing tougher than Rugby is fucking Rugby Sevens lol... FOR REAL... I played Rugby for a couple years before my first "Sevens" match, and severely underestimated how much more it takes out of you.... While most athletes getting into Rugby are tough - before the professional level, most are also either classic hard-hitting "scrum"-type players OR long-lasting "wing"-type players...

....but fucking Sevens demands both to be successful, almost everyone needs to be able to pop'em up like a lion and run'em down like a cheetah to really get it done.

So anyone who has played Rugby who is inevitably invited to their first Sevens match - while most of us are used to playing hungover as all hell, I'd strongly recommend going a bit easier on yourself the night before than typical lol.... Not to mention that, most of the time Sevens are tournaments --- and you can have several matches in a day.... It's intense. I got exhausted just reminiscing about that 'first time' hah.

One day, we irish will be triumphant in rugby AND soccer. You shall see.

I sooo agree with you on everything yourve said lol Sevens is just intense as any other rugby game, although league is a sport that requires alot more wit since its a "fast" sport compared to rugby.

Even The Rock said something about Rugby being a hard sport lol.
