whats your work schedule like?

i work 5am-1pm.. when im going home most folks are just on lunch break

i love it

My work fluctuates depending on the the time the sun rises. Mid summer I work 4am-12 however due to the later rising times I'm at 6:30-2:30. I like being done earlier, I live in a pretty awesome town that has a beach on either side of it so in the summer I lay on the beach at noon and relaaax. Earlier the better tbh

Deployed where?

And I'm on a 1900-0700 schedule... 14 days on, 1 off smh...

oats 09-20-2013 05:00 PM

first class starts at 8:20, final bell is 2:35

but I'm usually at school from 7:30-3 minimum. When I leave depends on meeting schedules though.

Frank Metts 09-20-2013 06:23 PM

I work 4 days on four days off ... day one ranges from 12:30pm - 1030pm .. day 2 630am - 1030pm .. day 3 and 4 can vary sometimes they 1030am-1030pm others their 230pm-1030pm

Nigma 09-20-2013 07:18 PM

I bet that was a bitch to get used to. Worst hours I've worked are 6:30pm-8am. Fuck that

Frank Metts 09-20-2013 09:08 PM

The 16 hour day sucks sometimes because the lack of sleep before and its just a long fucking day

Dominate 09-21-2013 03:40 AM

7-7 mon-fri at the moment but I basically don't work for 2 months over summer

Dove Dozer 09-21-2013 04:26 AM

I'm deployed right now so my work schedule is all sorts of fucked up,
4-12 is as normal as it gets on a good day. Back on base 8-4 :)

Hooah!

Seyance 09-21-2013 08:35 AM

i own a shop, so 7 days as everyday i'll be there at some point.. but i only do 4 days full-time work. a lot of the work doesn't seem like work apart from the finances, stock and staffing areas. probs about 45 hours a week on avg.

Diode 09-21-2013 08:36 AM

generally 9a-6:30. i work from home, so it is whatever my prospects decide it is. i leave at 6p for bjj on tues and thurs. i could just not answer the phone or emails , but you know, responsible people move up in the world and all..

if they show up, which is rare, they haven't said anything yet. When I was teaching elementary school I didn't have a beard though. most of my students' parents are not very involved though.

Sad to hear honestly ... you said special ed so are we talking delinquents mixed with mental illness or just the latter

oats 09-21-2013 03:36 PM

@Frank Metts I teach mild/moderate special ed, so most of my kids are just really low performers. I have a couple high-functioning autistic kids, handful of students with ADHD, but mostly they're in SPED for behavior issues and low academics. I teach 8th graders, and some of them can't read, for example (average reading level of my guys is around 3rd-4th grade). naturally, they hate school and act out, so a lot of my job is convincing them to finish high school and not go to jail tbh lol
