@uh-oh sampling is an art form ... your comparing a painting to a collage, their both art ...
Sampling goes back a long time and has been a part of hip hop since the 80s .. you can make a completely original beat but have to build it around a voice sample ... both arts are hard to do I'm just saying you can't discredit something that's been around since hip hops rise ... I could see if it started in like 2002 but its not steroids in baseball you can't use an asterisk because a producer samples.. But it is a personal opinion You put easy mo bee on the list and he sampled |
