Aside from wild delivery and a few decent ideas, the fact he had to explain it was a "concept" album is annoying.

It was on par with Kamikaze with the pop marketing aspects though. Pretty good for Em overall

Honestly the only track I skip is Brand New Dance strictly bc the beat is just awful. But otherwise, I like this album. Never really in the mood for the Hailie tracks only bc it’s been done a million times, and another track that was the same concept as Arose. Disappointed that you’re gonna name a track guilty conscience 2 and not have Dre on it but whatever. I never get excited when Em drops a new album but I liked it, and notice something dif whenever I decide to listen again. Plus, the YouTube video of him arguing with his AI slim shady self was very entertaining.

Yeah Brand New Dance is on my "Never listening again" list, didn't like Road Rage either. Habits is probably my favourite. I felt like Mr J when I saw him telling people to listen in order, like fuck off, how else would I listen to the fucking thing? But then I witnessed people just paying attention to the songs that were being talked about and missing the point the album was trying to make so I guess he had a reason for saying that.

I liked the album, it didn't blow me away but I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't imagine there's a better example of assonance out there than those lines above. Not only am I sure no other rapper is capable of doing that, I would go as far as to say there may not be a writer in general who can better that.

For me Eminem isn't the best rapper ever, but he's easily the best writer in hip hop history.
