I want to qualify this comment by saying that I respect both of you very much... You must believe me... Reading your verses over the years has been a pleasure. FFS, my signature is a Universe quote, and I know for a fact reading Lars verses over the years has helped me improve AND entertained me.

but I just take issue with the tone of your votes for each other, as though the massive rhyming skills are being slept on? Universe had a clean sweep in votes (at the time) and many compliments in those votes, to which Lars said they are sleeping on his talent?
Or Uni's vote which basically said only those who can pull off those rhymes can recognize it in others? (Also a clean sweep at the time)

This is a text site and I'm pretty sure most regular readers are aware you two are top notch at rhymes/multi/structure.

Perhaps it's like a competitive athlete creating a chip on the shoulder -- whether that chip is fictional or not doesn't really matter because it helps the athlete perform.

I will say this is very difficult (maybe impossible) to execute, even if you speed up the first rhyme of sunken-alien-crashed-ship...
Let's take a look at the very last 2 syllables.. crashed ship / Rapture/ factions... not great on the tongue no matter how well the first part of the multi is bent to match.
Just giving you my feedback -- do not let it discourage you from pushing the boundaries though!
Most of the others looked clean and well-executed to me.

maybe they're not ready for AWOL but they're still allowed to contend, give them something constructive or helpful, even if you don't wanna dig in to find an unpolished gem of advice. give them encouragement.

seems dumb to have a mostly dead event, and some of the people that seem enthusiastic about it aren't being encouraged to grow and help improve the event *shrug*
