Word but the point of this tourney is showcasing people who aren't household names on Netcees, people who don't have a championship accolade and we all apply to that despite the duration of our text careeers.

Also i don't think there's actually anybody "new" to text battling here in 2020. It wouldn't be much of a tourney

That's why I said in the OP that I didnt want to call it a newbie tourney. @Clout has clout and has made a name here on NC. So he is not what I'm looking for.
