not to be a dick, but I don't get the appeal of this type of singing

and there's plenty of cool stuff about this track tbr, but that kind of singing is a stylistic choice that I just don't get since it seems to distract from all of the other, well thought out aspects... mind helping me out here balwd gawd?

What I like about it personally is just the raw emotion that it conveys, I understand it’s not for everyone though and I personally didn’t like it to begin with but now it’s about all I consume. The lyrics are usually the high point for me

I have to be honest, between the lyrics and the screaming, it seems a little heavy-handed. Like, I hear this sort of thing so often that it's lost the visceral feel
