Netcees - PC people. whats your desktop looking like

yea its the 16 core/32 thread one. the 3800 was in a deal with the motherboard back on black friday. thats why i got it. but then i was learning about the socket type or whatever and seen the biggest one i could fit was that 3950 and my impulse buying later on got the best of me. lol. i havent been able to tell an actual difference performance wise, like that 3900 is 12 cores, i think slightly faster then the 3950, but i mean you only see a difference rendering videos and shit when it comes to the core count. even then i think alot of shit works the GPU too.

but yea wanted to max it out. lol

the io shield is built into mine. i initially had a crazy glass case, and all the shit lit up

but that was too much lol. distracting as hell. one of the main reasons i got the case in the main post of this thread. also since these cpu's run hot and i didn't go water cooling/aio, i wanted that case because in my dumb brain i seen it could fit a 200 mm fan, and a bunch of others so i threw a ton of fans into it to keep all types of crazy airflow lol. they're all noctua's which run super quiet and the cooler is the nd15 or some shit which comes with 2, 140's. so i've basically got 1, 200 mm, 2, 120 mm, and 5, 140 mm's as case fans

its fucking stupid but i love it. realistically now that i've learned more tho i probably would be fine with just the 200 in the front and a 140 in the back. but my mind is like there are empty fan slots, lets fill emmm
