i thought joaquin did good but there were certain things about the movie that just seemed bad to me. when he became joker that whole section was dope, i'd probably give it an 8.5, 9 at the most, i went in with too high of expectations i think

they wouldn't. only americans have this problem.

no american accents are difficult to understand, except for the heaviest southern drawl.

anyway, i might go and see this movie.

I'm 2 episodes into the new season of Peaky Blinders... its pretty good, quality acting etc.

Yeah I do have to pause Peaky Blinders sometimes and replay because of the accents. Don't those assholes know they should be speakin 'Murican.

And I'm going to go see Joker, i'm pretty hyped for it, even though it had some backlash and I've read things saying its not as good as the hype. Either way I still know it won't be bad.

It's a good movie. Slightly boring in a few places but not too many, flashes of brilliance throughout. Joaquin is fantastic.

Saw it again, was slightly numb after watching it the first time. Was able to take more in on the second watch, the little details make this movie, I actually think just calling it good was unfair in my initial comment. Although I do still think some scenes were dragged on too long, but it was a work of art from a directing standpoint, script was great. Phoenix gives Ledger a serious run for his money...both are incredible albeit in different ways.

I would suggest you watch it again and pay more attention, not a shot at you btw I'm just saying because I definitely didn't pay enough attention the first time...there's a lot of subtlety.
