I'm not entirely sure why you think it's nonsense. But as you stated, to each their own. I enjoy music, and I enjoy putting people onto music they either wouldn't normally listen to, or stuff that they haven't heard yet. I mean, I used to curate playlists on here that people seemed to really enjoy. I can't see anything wrong with being proud of exposing people to new music.

Also, just for my own curiosity, do you think DJs are nonsense? Or radio Jockeys? Or people like Khaled, who basically curate mixtapes/albums? Or the dude who makes hella $$$ by curating the Rap Caviar playlist? I'm actually interested in knowing when (if at all) it stops becoming nonsense.
