he didn't commit any crimes

the whole he shouldn't have a career anymore thing is what bothers me.

if you can't be a fan of a pasty ginger mexican who wacks off in front of people no one is forcing you to buy/watch his specials or attend his shows

but i think you already knew my opinion of it.

this thread is mainly about how we can have such different opinions and both feel 100 percent in the right.

Makes you wonder why they call it a correctional facility if even when you didn't technically commit crime you shouldn't be allowed to work when you've paid your debt

oh yea "work" right

fat pervert tells jokes for a living

let him join the rest of us in the real world

god forbid right

idgaf if he wanna jerk off into little babies mouths honestly but I will NEVER feel bad that he loses his insanely luxurious life style due to it

OH YEA HE PAID HIS DUES GIVE HIM BACK HIS FREE TICKET IN LIFE miss me with that stupid shit

an if u didn't want to debate that topic an really want an answer to ur OP its pretty fucking simple? people have different life experiences thru out childhood and into adulthood that mold their perceptions of the world and guide their emotions

that's all these social media debates r fueled by....emotions

even intelligent discussions with differing political perceptions are based on where and how a person was raised

Destroyer 08-30-2018 08:49 AM

Legit can be answered in one word which bags used twice: perception.
It’s all our reality is shaped by.

Pretty boiler plate life

I think he means more factual things based on OP but didn’t really give an example

There aren’t many facts in life

Ghost1 08-30-2018 09:15 AM

I mean asking why people have differing opinions is a psychological question

the book I recommended gives an incredibly detailed explanation to the topic but I don't think uh oh really wanted anything from this thread other than to think outloud

~RustyGunZ~ 08-30-2018 09:26 AM

Yeah probably the thinking out loud

If he is confused by people debating things backed by fact, I think he has the brain power to have already known everything in your last post but hasn’t reached the point of understating facts people present are usually not facts they’re evidence and every side has different evidence. Just like Tyrone has different views because he’s from the California ghettos, socialism doesn’t work in every country. Yet those instances are used as “fact” to support capitalism even though socialism works other places. Same goes for lose and strict drug and gun laws. Sex laws. Etc.

But again his example I guess was Louis ck? That’s a pretty opinion based thing lol. As a liberty minded person I don’t think anyone should be banned from doing much of anything. If he doesn’t sell tickets he’ll starve, if he sells tickets the people have spoken. Just like the gay cake shit. Let them have whatever policies they want, maybe they’ll change their tune when they lose business and go bankrupt.

Lol, bro.

It's called a correctional facility because the ultimate goal of the department of corrections is to TRY and change the behavior of those who have served time or are serving time.

Hence why they provide education, therapy, etc... Some facilities - education is mandatory if your served more then 9 months or some shit.

They attempt to try and prepare these mentally ill or challenged individuals to be released back in to the real world.

Long term sentences has been proven to fuck people up mentally who were already fucked from the beginning FOR THE MOST PART.

What do I know, tho.

I only used the louie thing because it was what was relevant at the time of the thread. One of countless topics where i feel so far in the right of things that i cant fathom how someone would think differently

But bags kind of helped clear up some of the logic of the opposing viewpoints i was missing on that topic at least.

Its a jealousy/envy/hate viewpoint basically. You see louie as the famous wealthy public figure he is, you see he made mistakes, nothing the court of law could prosecute but enough for the court of public opinion to villify him.

Im sure bags would feel different if it was ted from the customer support division. He wouldnt think Ted should be stopped from working his customer support job because he creeped some chicks out a decade ago, apologised admitted wrongdoing blah blah.

Its basically since louie is successful, fuck him. Youre not allowed to participate publicly anymore. Go take your millions and hide scum

uh-oh 08-30-2018 12:02 PM

But word instead of trying to strike up discussions on here ill just pm bags in the future to get recommendations for books i have 0 interest in

Oh now you’re sounding stupid uh oh.

Louis CK shouldn’t be banned from comedy because it’s an art form that he has to work at to make a living on. He should deal with the industry itself either spitting him out into hell or taking him back in. These allegations happened during his comedy career at comedy events, so your ted from cust service comparison is fucking retarded. Ted should be fired and have to find a new customer service job with the crutch of someone working st his old job knowing people in the area and a few potential employers hearing about that ted guy that jerked off in the break room randomly in front of 3 female co workers

i was on my lunchbreak typing from my phone. the analogy holds up though, because louie didn't wack off in front of people at work, he tried to get a coworker to do it from work, but that was the chick he actually didn't do anything with who said no from the start. the chicks he jerked off in front of, he was out at a bar drinking with, invited them back to his hotel room, asked him if he could while they giggled and said yea thinking he was joking, he wasnt and started jerking off and it got weird so they left.

he didn't hold doors shut or force himself on anyone. it was literally consensual.

it was creepy sure.

so your analysis of ted is flawed based on the false perception of louie in the media. ted would be able to continue his career in customer support. he could get fired from his company sure, but nothing would stop him from gaining employment elsewhere

the problem with louie is he was fired/dropped from FX, and he had a movie cancelled and buried, after apologising for his past actions. then after a long time away he goes up for free to do a stand up set, to a standing ovation, clubs all over the country are willing to work him, so it isn't the industry of stand up that is shunning him. its the industry of butthurt people who would never go to see him anyways.

plenty of clubowners are willing to sell out tickets to there establishments to book him for a weekend. he can go back to selling his specials on his website if places like netflix etc shun him

but they don't want to see that happen, they use him as a figurehead for the actual monsters like weinstein etc, who actually rape and assault people. he's lumped in with them. and since he's actually trying to move on with his life, they can't have it

i don't get it.

~RustyGunZ~ 08-30-2018 10:46 PM

Companies have to make decisions to keep themselves in business. Booting him from FX was a smart business decision.

If you disagree with that, than you’re the nimwit in your scenario of people arguing against near irrefutable evidence.

uh-oh 08-31-2018 04:58 AM

i wasn't arguing that, him being dropped from FX and losing the movie was his punishment on top of the public shame

the problem i have is the attempt to continue blackballing him
