i liked the kid coming out of the draft but his completion pctg and shit was a little offputting but i don't put too much stock in it. i think he could do very well. but i'm always wrong about rookie qb talent.

you a bills fan? see you wk 1 doggie.

Not a bills fan, also Brett Favre’s comp% in college is 10% lower than his NFL one. Comp% in college is way different than NFL cuz you play with worse receivers in a different offense

Also about the throw, my saying effortless is basically hyperbole but he didn’t do an A. Rod type load up or take cricket steps. He wasn’t far off from a normal build up, which shows me he can go farther.

Also his vid with 77 yard throw, I think doing that’s stupid, a horse is faster when meeked if you know what I mean,

Lol who knows. Saw Lamar Jackson play against the Bears

His running was allot less successful obv. But it’s a different game in the NFL and QB’s have the hardest Transition.

Sam Darnold seems to be the best, then imo it’s Allen Rosen Mayfield,

Mayfield has allot of talent around him, and the defense is usually a top 10 unit, so I think he’ll have a good chance in 2019 after this rookie year. But Flacco and the Raven’s are gonna be out soon, so the division will be easier.
If Sam Darnold and Allen turn out to be good it might wind up being 3 playoff teams in one division depending on if Brady plays 3 more years

i thought/think rosen is hands down the best of the bunch.

i thought lamar jackson was hands down the WORST.

i was letting all the hype get to me prior to the HOF game btw. i hated the jackson pick but everything out of the ravens camp from players and coaches was glowing admiration for the kid

my only gripe now is it will never be easier than the SECOND HALF of the HALL OF FAME GAME.

absolutely zero cuts have been made, you're basically playing against 4th string talent. the very bottom of the rosters. and he looked ass.

in his defense though, he was also playing with bottom of the barrel talent, with the exception of a couple guys, im pretty sure they kept zeus in at RT. hurst was playing at TE, etc. but he didn't have a starting caliber o-line. so while i want to DECAPITATE him for confirming my fears of being ANTSY in the pocket, and trying to take off instead of continuing to look downfield, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. also its his first experience so maybe he just wanted to impress more than anything instead of just going through the motions. but word he isn't splitting defenders with a simple juke like in college, and he's going to get MURDERED.

i think he can be EXTREMELY dangerous with his feet, but only after he proves that he can be in the pocket 90 percent of the time. when teams can just play zone defense and he thinks everyone is covered they're just waiting on him to take off. he's gotta learn to make them honest.
