Brady is great but he's no Rodgers. And he shouldn't have won the MVP lasr
last year, it should've been Gurley.

He needs a brilliant OC to do anything. There are at least 3 active QB's without a ring better than him right now

Who

Fly Eagles Fly

This is easy why even the discussion, Brady is the most winning but not the best. If you put Rodgers on the Pats, good lord. They might have not lost a SB since beating the Eagles a decade or so ago

DMS 07-22-2018 08:56 PM

Also, 7 QB’s currently starting have rings
Eli
Brady
Aaron
Ben
Joe
Brees
Russel

So saying he’s the best out of 25 when 5-6 haven’t played enough to tell puts him at 19th in the league

DMS 07-22-2018 09:11 PM

Also 5 or more QBs
Deshaun, Wentz, Goff, Jimmy G, Derrick
Can’t be counted cus they haven’t played enough
7 have rings, that leaves 20 QBs and I’m not sure Matt’s the best out of those.

Bro if Beldsoe didn't get hurt he would played for a handful of years...and brady would have been whos knows....Brady is the goat, a system bred goat because of the head coach and organization. I'm saying Rodgers is talent wise better qb and would have thrive better than Brady if he was on Pats not knocking Brady here buddy.

uh-oh 07-22-2018 10:35 PM

I disagree.

Belicheck owes as much of his success to brady as the other way around. People forget he is still in the QB room when his stand ins made it look easy.

I despise him. But saying rodgers is more talented is wrong. He may have a slightly more talented arm and slightly better pocket awareness, but again its not that much better, to where it outweighs all of the things brady is better at. Gamplanning, dissecting defenses etc on top of his abilities as an elite pocket passer himself

BodySnatcher 07-22-2018 10:50 PM

good points...but I think the system is greater than the QB in this instance, he is the best ever no doubt but how good would he have been on another team? Belichick and Bledsoe would have been doing is almost as good as Brady for a few more years is he didn't get hurt. Tom was not amazing obviously since he was a 6th or 7th rounder but when he got in the league he was thrown into the position and worked hard af to get to where he is now, Rodger is naturally more talented at the position. I guess it almost makes me respect Tom more, fuck.

Exis 07-22-2018 11:37 PM

Brady is what, like 40? & still throw like he a freshman...GOAT imo.

word its just difficult to look at situations like that, because both wouldve been ruined if they played for the browns for instance. aaron rodgers wouldve failed out like all the other talented prospects that cleveland ruined. most qb's that became jokes playing for them were highly regarded coming out of college as well.

alot of what held brady back was intangibles though, his size and basically passing the "eye test". he didn't have the strongest arm, didn't have alot of tape, looked like a dweeb etc. rodgers had a ton of tape out of cal, was supposed to be that dude

its tough to judge alot of it. i mean its easy to judge qb's based off where they end up though, but to what extent is the question. would matt ryan have found success in baltimore? would flacco have more success in atlanta with all the weapons they've had? they both couldve washed out the league for all we know if their positions were swapped.

all we can really judge them on is what they've done where they are at. but word i hear you

No.

Brady has a drive to win. He loves the game of football. While Drew played for the pay check.

It's a fact - not many have the drive Brady does. Reason why he's the GOAT.

Close thread. All that need tone said

Fart 07-23-2018 05:08 PM

Drew played for a check? He could of easily left and signed with a shit team for 8-9 million more per year lol get bradys nuts out of your throat. Pats could win 11 games with dalton

Exis 07-24-2018 09:15 AM

11? Lol...I'll say 4.
