Props to v! I'm actually running one cycle of 531 to peak for a Max right now.

It is really helping me. A lot of it is psychological. I am still a little shook on squats but I am getting the mojo. Squats are weak in comparison. But I am hitting all my goals and just being patient Anthony. Not using any steroids. That is cheatin.

Ghost1 03-17-2018 11:22 AM

Lol blown away at inf on the sauce....although it makes sense now when he said he stopped lifting out of depression or whatever

And WORD best way to take away that fear of heavy squats is to get under heavy loads (nh) as often as possible. Same as anything else man.... familiarization will take away the fear of the unknown. Props my guy. Happy ur having success w 531. Great program. Lemme know if u get bored with it or stall I have a couple other jewels to bless u with program wise.

veritas 03-17-2018 11:26 AM

Word word. I am in it to win it Ant. I plan on doing it for two years...and 24 cycles. By then I should be at the 200 300 400 500 range easily. Then I will do another program. I think.

My squats are my weakest. Right now I can press 170 squat 300 bench 250 and dead about 400. The squats are my weakest.

Ghost1 03-17-2018 11:31 AM

Yea it's different for everyone....just the way our bodies are built alone contributes to advantages and disadvantages in particular lifts....ie....long arms equal strong deadlift because there's a shorter rang of motion from the ground to lockout....u get the idea. But yea my bench is probably my strongest but squat is good too......deads weakest if u figure I squat 475 and am attempting 505 on deads in a couple weeks.

But yea dude that's awesome....I did 531 for 2yrs and I still integrate it into my schedule time to time.

veritas 03-17-2018 11:36 AM

Thank you for your help. Now what was the original topic here? Dre posting too much?

I think it is the idea of the no-it-all being a turn off for me. Like don’t be that guy you know?

Mayne you might be an expert in your field by this point but you ain’t an expert in all fields. Maybe you are competent in a lot of fields. But you ain’t competent in all fields.

Dre help me out here sir...please list 3 areas that you absolutely no knowledge of or know no one who does either

Ghost1 03-17-2018 11:42 AM

Word word word

The know it all in topics he clearly has no experience in

Endless arguments with other boarders about nothing with zero entertainment value or humor

False sense of success in areas of incompetence....I guess that goes along with the first and main point

It's also off-putting that he lashes out childishly when called out on it

Hm yea...all of his terrible boarding stems from his unrealistic portrayal of himself as being an expert in all fields.

It's actually to the point where he's been deluding himself so long that he believes the lies are true and gets angry when questioned or challenged about them.

Well said. Dre please let us work on this. At least Aeros delusion that he is a rich black underwear model has some funny to it.

So you want my strengths?

Debating with Google PHD'S is not one of them.

The fact that people perceive me to be a know it all blows my mind. 95% of the time I chime in based of experiences with the topic or knowing someone who's experienced the topic. Lol @ lashing out, tho.. what you think/feel is subject for misinterpreted perception.

Strengths would be pretty much athletic ability and knowledge, mostly in baseball, football and boxing. And a degreed professional in my career/field.

Does that answer your question?

Enbombz 03-17-2018 01:26 PM

That was the gayest answer you could of come up with .

Amen 03-17-2018 01:27 PM

Cool.

Clout 03-17-2018 01:29 PM

Man my arms so damn long feels like a new millennium hits before I fully lock out from the bar touching my chest on benchpress haha. Ur diet advice helped. I maxed at 305. My squat I have yet to max I just do 3 sets of 315 for 6-8. I got a 405 deadloft the other day.

The one guy in my gym said deadlift is best for taller people because of longer limbs having an advantage is this true?

@veritas nice work I've been doing this Westside barbell program my roommate suggested.

I legit have a doctorate in psychology I am not sure of you are throwing shade here or not? I hope you aren’t because I don’t mind you and don’t feel like I have done anything to be your enemy?

At any rate proceed how you wish

Amen 03-17-2018 01:50 PM

Was not referring to you by any means, V.

trying to be 235 by august but lean not a pudge ball. I started at 214 now 227.8 lbs. We getting there netcees!

Ghost1 03-17-2018 01:57 PM

Gvt....10x10? Yea I like that....I feel like it's not as beneficial until you start moving big weight though otherwise it's more of a bodybuilding hypertrophy type of program.

veritas 03-17-2018 02:01 PM

Word Dre

That Westwood looks dope.

Yea i needed it i was severely underweight for my height haha. So my roomate had me doing that and scarfing down carbs with at least 35 grams of protein along with it. I never ate so much rice, yams, and quinoa in my life. Oatmeal was a stable too. I think i was eating 250 grams of protein and 400 grams of carbs per day on that program. With that JYM post work out and pre workout. I swear by that stuff works well for me.
