WHEN you hit 30? I thought you were at least 31 and that was three years ago. |
Totally against veganism.
It's just not American. |
can't argue with that
know what else isn't american? not dying from cancer or heart disease or living your last decade of life with dementia |
True lol
|
Take 3-4 days out the week to not eat meat. And get physically active, like Bags mentioned, it's about balance.
|
u fucking vegan devil u deleted the part after that including meat an dairy (no not really I guess I didn't type it but I THOUGHT it fuckface)
and then ignored the rest of my post ur gonna rot in hell and the devils gonna fuck u in the ass with a giant broccoli stalk lubed in almond milk |
I eat meat because I like it and if I couldn't eat meat anymore I would be miserable.
Sure, I'm sad about the animals, I love animals, and I probably subconsciously block out the fact that my steak used to be a happy ol' moo moo, because I wouldn't enjoy it as much. I just really like how it tastes and I don't want to stop. Plz don't make me :( |

lol its jsut fucked how we look at food and do not see anything involving the process or where it came from. that's why its so easy, that even after you see someone petting a cow and start feeling all teh feels, or when you see them put a bolt halfway through a pigs head and then rip its skin from its body while its still conscious and you're like OK IM DONE WITH THIS SHIT but then you see a piece of bacon and it still has all of the allure it always had you subconsciously make that decision to either connect the two or disconnect the two right then and there, and the latter is much more comfortable. u dont want to feel bad about what you're eating. and we like comfortable. so thats what happens
i grew up eating venison and turtle soup and all the whoppers and spicy chicken sandwhichs and stuffed crust pizzas the world has to offer i promise its not miserable at all @Witty |
|
but also @uh-oh you can run that keto diet and eat all that shit for breakfast if its high quality fats, and maybe lose weight too from what i'm hearing, just no carbs
|
yeah that shit is absolutely awful @Amen i appreciate you proving my point, that thing smarter and kinder than most of you on here
|
eh like I said I wont debate the morality side to it. its definitely a moral dilemma and honestly my only rebuttal is that I just don't care. I think the reasoning behind it is that we have no real contact w these animals while theyre living unless you work on a farm....idk...we would never eat a dog because we live with these animals and interact with them daily....animals that we eat are more like television characters ....theyre intangible.
|
for sure, i completely agree. so, you probably don't interact with syrian refugees on a daily basis right? and they for a long period of time and to a high degree still today are getting kidnapped and beaten, sold for sex, tortured, etc. by outside forces and if you had the choice to either support it economically or not support it, you definitely wouldn't, right?
|
the difference in that analogy tho is that their well being doesn't affect my day to day life positively or negatively.....its similar...in that both involve the torture of seemingly intangible parties but taking away the torture of animals takes food off my plate.....taking away the torture of Syrian refugees is irrelevant from a personalized perspective. so the analogy is flawed until u can make the refugees impact my personal life. sure yea morally I want to say hey don't kill those people theyre just like you and I...but here again that's different from animals....there is a greater level of value to human lives than animal lives to me.
you could probably alter the analogy or pose another one that puts us into a hypocritical scenario but I don't think we are really arguing or that you have a point to prove here to me that I haven't already admitted to being aware of initially. killing and torturing animals is bad or unpleasant if youre an animal....or if youre really in tune with other animals but for myself...and the vast majority of the population based on consumer purchasing habits alone its a non factor. like I said previously...and I don't think we are disagreeing ...theyre just not a tangible material. solve that problem and you solve vegan hesitation. |
I was gonna play a game of chess before leaving the office instead I wrote those two paragraphs. fuck u boof.
|
Yo, did ya'll see how many times that fucking pig flopped around after being shot in the damn head and throat stabbed?
