I strongly disagree. This lil Wayne song isn’t as easily relatable and the overall theme of the two songs are completely different.

This Eminem song is good. Better than anything on MMLP2. It’s more of the same subject matter he’s been spitting for years, but this song sounds like him growing into it. It’s the sentiment he touched on at the end of MMLP2’s opening track. He sounds grown up and okay with it.

The scheme is spectacular as usual. A few times I feel like he sacrificed scheme for content, but that’s Em.

i dont really think the hook and the verses worked well together as a TRACK nahmean

also it may be just me but the vocals at the end of his shit sounded clipped lol

anyway, this is a marked improvement from his stuff of late (to me). i liked it even if its not something i'd prolly bump repeatedly. i dont feel like the hook alone is strong enough for it to lead as first single off the album either, but maybe it will grow on me.

This song is better than previous efforts because he sounds comfortable in his current place. Is he right about his legacy and how people think he's washed up now? I don't really think so. I think it's just some sort of trope he's decided to run with for this song or maybe album. The dude (Em) is not very diverse, but he seems to be tackling the subject matter from a more grown up place. It's not as scatterbrained. Not saying it's the best song in the fucking world, but it's good.

Legit this is the worst Em song I've heard. The subject matter is stupid. You only walk on water when it's ice? You're only human? Awesome. Super deep and corny. Then, no beat. Ok that's fine...
