what i need bags for:

provocative disc threads
user edits i get constant pm requests about
approving new accounts
coming up with tournaments and gimmicks

what i don't need bags for:

running nbl
running aowl
antagonizing people outside of disc

the current format has worked out great for ensuring there's no fuckery and butthurt affecting the results and participation in the leagues. i'd like to keep it that way. not accusing bags of having a desire to run roughshod over the leagues, but keeping them in their isolated boxes seems to have good results vs. past efforts.

this kid is due any day now. i need someone to handle the boring stuff and getting disc going. i don't need a namix or gow (as so eloquently put earlier).

putting egos aside are the only thing that could save this forum. not just admins tho, that falls to the user base as well, it's actual that watershed moment where people need to throw out those old grudges and work together to rebuild this or na. the foundation of netcees is still clearly there. certain people are stuck in a cycle of associating netcees with negativity so that's all they offer.. i know i was like that for years, fake ass grudges just for the sake of it.

the admin/mod team needs to be clearly outlined and those mods in charge of various areas should bring ideas they have for the area, think outside the standard mundane rap forum shit.

i will offer my graphic design services forward for the admin team/mods that need something going forward like magazine headers, tourney banners and even branding for the forum. the t-shirt idea was great.. i think it was hush that brought it up, this should happen.. it makes the site money and grows the brand, netcees is essentially a brand after all and we don't do enough to maximize reach. typically a hiphop forum's approach for new members would be to spam existing busy sites. imagine a burger king only advertised to people who went to mcdonalds, in mcdonalds.. it's just not a strategy capable of getting the significant results necessary. every market at the moment is over saturated, this market netcees is in.. isn't.

i'll mentioned this a while ago, but.. i think with the personalities here, knowledge of hiphop, poetry..etc there is a lot of interesting characters with obviously a lot to say. why not bring parts of this forum bang up to date.. i feel like there is scope for a netcees podcast. a particular team hosts, people can be on there as special guests.. or even call in over the phone, they could host freestyles, live battles on air.. do round-ups of "netcees monthly", break down battles, spotlight moments in forum history, talk about the biggest points happening on here and on a wider scale as well. hosting the media at the top of the front page on netcees. it could definitely appeal to those that are not already here too that may stumble across it on youtube or where ever. i think it would be a big draw for people on other forums, i think it would get things popping a bit.

to be clear: i have no interest in "pulling strings" - what i want is a group effort, not a single tyrant. all i plan to do is keep the lights on going forward.

disc is dead. the leagues are thriving. i'd rather that than turning into late-era upn /b clone (which is where we ended up prior to your departure).

not going to address the rest of your nonsense.

if you want to run the day to day and stay out of the leagues, you're welcome to it. it doesn't sound like you want that.
