I'm a huge Eminem fan but I'm sick of this shit too...it's incredible that he can write like this, it's not easy to do...his wordplay is very subtle and his rhymes are out of this world but it doesn't SOUND good...it sounds terrible, no flow at all, wack beats, no direction... difficult to listen to tbh but I will always admire his ability as a writer.

Everyone's opinions of this are as stiff as the flow. Someone writes this and posts it in the open mic and it'd be lauded for being dope. I find it cool that after all the fame, personal issues and aging he still takes the time to write this type of verse. Seems like people here more than anywhere would appreciate this kind of thing. He's just a guy who enjoys rhyming and seems be havin fun doing it.

See, if he seemed to be having fun, this would be so much better.

I think he's just gotten too analytical. Technical. You may still love writing those type of rhyme heavy, witty wordplay verses, but it also can get to seem robotic when your main goal is to write a good rhyme for good rhyme's sake, as opposed to writing a rhyme that epitomizes what you perceive other's will perceive as dope because you want notarity.

I'm not saying it's great, but it's cool, and think it should be taken for what it is.

He's old. Does seem... a bit dull.

I want to be excited for an Eminem rhyme-fest, but this seems so contrived to me. like, "hey I'm still relevant, look! I'm Donald Trump with an honest bump taking stronger dumps than that Brawny chump" etc. I'm still going to listen to his new album, but his music post-Relapse has been as impressive as mediocre music can get, if that makes sense.

He always seems like someone who isn't sure who he is. And always so concerned with how he's perceived. Which is funny, considering the persona.
