I was going to edit in the battler bios me and NYCSPITZ wrote up to include in the magazine but I think they were that in depth they deserved their own thread to shine.

Do you think we could have got a field of 32 together? Ideally if I ran one I'd want 32 competitors and around 8 reserves. 40 people total.

It would be a tough one, for sure, but I think if we used this one as a springboard to show people we mean absolute business with no bullshit, more people would be down to take part. It's certainly do-able. This one was announced and setup within a week.

That's exactly why I made spots extremely limited here. It adds a sense of prestige to proceedings for all involved.

Hopefully, if we do a good enough job, some of those guys will stick around and participate in future.

I hope to god everyone involved here shows up, I've worked hard as fuck to make this possible. I've got faith in them all and Certain and Witty are on-hand to fill in as reserves at short notice if needed, which is an excellent ace to have in the hole at this point.

The early signs are encouraging though and after seeing the mags involved here, people would be stupid not to want to take part in a future tourney with an even bigger field.
