Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky, G Herbo, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, ScHoolboy Q, Joey Badass, Ab-Soul, YG ... there still are plenty of popular rappers who rap well. The big thing is that today's best rappers are looking beyond genre limitations, which is something you have no interest in doing.
