I travel a lot and mainly to England for my work and picked up soccer. I do live in though US though.

On another note - the fuck @ Russia scoring in ET. The most underserved goal so far. England should've took that by atleast 3 goals.

I'm confused as to why Kane wasn't subbed on for Vardy.. Kane literally didn't contribute at all through the entire game and seemed lost. He's a selfish dickhead whenever he gets the ball.

Orc 06-11-2016 07:29 PM

I agree man bad decision

Sturridge or Vardy needed to come on and use their pace. I mean the Russian centre backs were 37 and 33 or something and ran at a snails pace. Must be frustrating to support England and see clearly what the game needs but their manager can't see it. Bringing Milner on to sure things up was shocking. Vintage Hodgson

sral 06-12-2016 04:17 AM

lmao not really all that shocking tbh

England were prepared to sit back thinking they had it sewn up at 1-0 with little threat at goal from Russia

two experienced midfielders brought in to pass the ball around

got caught with a decent looping header there wasn't really a great deal they could do anything about

freak goal, but shit happens

we'll beat Wales on Thursday and then it's forgotten about

Orc 06-12-2016 04:22 AM

The problem is they shouldn't be bringing on two midfielders to keep the result. They should have went for the throat considering how poor the Russians were. Negative substitutions is a worrying trait.

Not too sure about you beating Wales. Maybe another draw then beat Slovakia. England and Wales through.

Lotto Smirk 06-12-2016 01:40 PM

Yo what's up that shit last night was shocking, we should of been 3-0 up by half time. I think we have the talent and depth to be able to win the competition but it's the mentality that ALWAYS let's England down and coming off the back of that last night against Russia I'm slightly nervous about the wales game on Thursday.

Just watching the N.ire game Poland are by far the better team, FRance Germany & Spain have to be favourites I'm quite surprised no one has mentioned the Spanish, witty I think it was made a good point about Portugal for once not being a one man team so for the first year they have a good chance I wouldn't write them off. Belgium have a good side but I don't think they will have enough to win it. I'm gonna say Germany or Spain if England get knocked out but I've gotta root for the home nation we are gonna trash wales on Thursday then move on to dominate the competition.

COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Diode 06-12-2016 05:21 PM

Friendly reminder that Schweinsteiger is still da gawddd

Orc 06-12-2016 05:39 PM

Happy for him after his stop start season at United. Germany look to be lacking that clinical finisher at the minute though. Bring back Klose the God.

Ireland vs Sweden tomorrow lads. Let's get it done.

Evolve 06-12-2016 08:23 PM

Won my bet. Germany to beat Ukraine 2-0. That last goal was a miracle for me lol.

I'm looking forward to Belgium vs Italy tomorrow. Shit is gonna be intense for sure

I have France winning the tourney though with Belgium or Germany to take it.

I also feel England might have the opportunity to take it. After the freak goal against Russia, I doubt Hodgeson will make the same mistake twice.

Sharp 06-12-2016 09:00 PM

First half of Ukraine v Germany >>>>>>>

Evolve 06-12-2016 09:25 PM

I agree, it was intense. Ukraine came outta' no where

Toil 06-13-2016 03:09 AM

That Russia game hurt almost as much as losing a text battle.

I got tickets to one of the semis so I need England to finish top so I can go throw some plastic chairs about

lmao as a former defender myself, I gotta say... I read that play veryyyyy early on, no bullshit

it was a great ball delivered by Ozil and Schweinsteiger showed determination to get to it but the defence should have read that better imho

I think the worst part for Ukraine is the pass to Ozil sent him super wide, giving them time to set the defense, and they still gave up the cross anyway lolololol

yeah, Ukraine were sluggish in a lot of areas and that will be exploited by the quicker and nimbler teams

there were times where they had every man in their own half towards the end and while I can see WHY you would do that as damage limitation, its not what your fans or country want to see

I'm a risk taker, I'd have literally sooner took the gamble and tried to nick a goal/point in the last 10 mins rather than sit everyone in my own half

if we lost, fuck it we tried

a loss by one goal or by ten is still a loss, that's how I look at it

given how careless neuer was being coming out of the box they very likely would have gotten one past him

sral 06-13-2016 10:33 AM

lmao I say this as an Englishman whos team tried to secure the 1-0 marginal victory and then got equalised against

lets not forget that humbling fact either haha
