Don't be mad bro crazy Bernie was never going to be a reality no matter how many Facebook tantrums you guys threw. It's ok we welcome u back to the real world with open arms. Vote Trump

Objective 06-08-2016 06:11 PM

lol @ Wrecka still looking up to that fuck.

Bernie is a lost cause, unfortunately. Either way, Hillary isn't too bad compared to the other options plus it'd warm the hearts of my fellow Albanian brethren if she won.

uh-oh 06-08-2016 08:35 PM

She is easily the worst. Id prefer bernie to her and I disagree with 99.9 percent of everything he is for.

Its not a reference to any website boss, i just compiled quotes from the people that mentioned voting irregularities on my newsfeed yesterday. And again, it's not over. You know how the democratic primary works, right? You know what a contested convention is, right?

646,220 people registered in the 45 days before the deadline.

The rules state that in California, if you wish to fill out the democratic ballot, you must be registered as a Democrat or NPP.

The article below is a story released June 3rd about a poll worker in Orange County reporting that in her training leading up to yesterday's primary, her and her 17 co-workers were given strict instructions to give NPP(No Party Preference) voters a Provisional Ballot if they requested a Democratic ticket..

If you don't know, 9 times out of 10 a provisional ballot is never counted.

So what happened?

"Update – it's getting worse. Almost every young person who comes in here to vote is not on the roster. We look online and it shows that they are registered and it tells them this is their polling place but they are not on my roster so I have to give them a provisional ballot."

"I would say that nearly half of everybody who has come into my precinct was either not on the roster or they had their party changed or it says that they were supposed to receive vote by mail ballots and they never received them. Having to hand someone a provisional ballot when they clearly did everything right is heartbreaking. I sincerely hope that it's not this bad throughout the entire state."

"So, in line to vote before 7 am.
In Santa Monica.
They have 1. Just 1. Booth to vote Democrat.
They are already urging people to vote provisionally--even some people who brought in mail-in ballots.
I signed the voter roll, voted, and handed the guy my ballot.
He told me the counting machine "isn't running yet", AFTER he put MY ballot into the bottom of it. Suddenly he was able to print reciepts of *something* from the top.
Got no reciept.
Finding out later that the ballots that go in the bottom are provisional.
I'm sure this is the least of the fuckwaddery that will happen in CA today, but I do not trust that my vote will be counted.
In fact, I know my vote won't be counted."

"After working the polls today, I'm disappointed to say that I am thoroughly fucking disgusted at how this country conducts elections. I worked today on a poll team with 4 other people, only one of whom was competent to do the work.
Not to mention, we were forced to hand out dozens of provisional ballots (i.e. feel-good votes that aren't counted), because they literally had no polling place assigned by the state and/or because no mail ballot was sent to them. In other words, incompetence at the local, county, and state level.
Elections in the country are utter bullshit. What I saw today was that whoever is running a polling location has great power to shape the results of their precinct. A coordinated effort of scheming could easily steal the elections, and get away with it due to the extremely poor safeguards against cheating."

"I am so upset!! I just got off the phone with my grandma in San Diego, who for the first time was so excited to vote for someone. She registered to vote MONTHS ago at the DMV and never received her mail-in ballot. Today we checked, and she's apparently not registered at all.

Let me repeat that, she registered to vote WELL before the deadline, and she is not registered today and does not get to vote."

"So I'm 3rd in line to vote at 7 am and the polling place was not set up. When they finally do, they can't find my name on the list. They make some calls and then try to hand me a provisional fucking ballot. I'm like no, I don't want a provisional ballot. They tell me I will have to go to the county register to vote. I was fuming! So I call the registers office and they say I should have been on that list. "

"The election fraud has started!! "Our precinct chair called out sick - they have all the supplies - we only have provisional ballots." That aren't verified until 30 days after election date. WTF?!? Asked the supervisor present why he wasn't driving over to their house to pick-up supplies, got a blank stare. No checking ID's, no verifying if registered voter. Now the question is - who is the precinct chair voting for? "

"UPDATE: They ended finding my name on a supplemental list. It took about an hour of me pushing and not giving up. 5 different people told me they did not see my name. Then they tried to send me to another location, I said NO, this is where I am supposed to be. I called the 1-800-481-VOTE number. They said they saw I was registered, but because my name was not on the list at the precinct I had vote using a provisional ballot. I told them no way! My vote WILL count, and I was sitting there until they figured this out... Fast forward an hour, Somehow, somewhere another list appeared and my name was on it. Don't give up! If I would have left after the 4th or 5th person told me I wasn't on the list, I would have not have voted. "

"Just voted. What a mess. Couldn't find my name even though I have been registered democrat for 40 years, even though the state website shows I am registered and eligible to vote in this election. Had to vote provisionally. I requested and received a democratic ballot. To top it off, ballot counter on box was broken as was touch screen machine. Never have I encountered such a mess. Good news is there was a line at 7:00 AM."

"Ucla polls report 50% of ballots that went out were provisional due to no "blue list" of newly registered democrats."

FIFTY PERCENT.

There are 4.3 million NPP voters in California.

There are 1.6 million newly registered voters.

Margin of victory? 500,000.

Quit being pedantic. Hillary has it sewn up. I will lay you whatever odds for whatever amount of money on it. Grow up.

idk how you could be against all of those unless this just a circle jerk of trolls

most of those issues don't affect them directly/personally and thus in their eyes, don't matter.

people talk about 'millennials' and how they're ruining the country with their selfies and their iphones and their memes. it's the lack of empathy that hurts us as a people the most

uh-oh 06-09-2016 11:57 AM

Cmonson. I cant go into every single thing while on my phone but lets be real here, the liberal millenials are easily the most selfish generation of all time. Every selfless thing you put forward has a selfish agenda. Higher minimum wage, free college, healthcare etc. Its ridiculous

And of course conservatives are selfish. Its human nature. The same reason you are jealous that you see the rich guy with all his things you cant afford and somehow think you have a right to have those things too. You have the right to pursue it. You dont have the right to have it given to you.

Inno 06-09-2016 01:38 PM

But if millenials ACTUAL HAD AN IMPACT LIKE THAT.

Wed be wearing skinny jeans as uniforms

And picking presidents on FB.

Let a beaner run this country tho

I fear the Bernie Bros have mustered so much contempt for Hillary that they'll refuse to vote for her even in the face of the infinitely worse alternative.

Your democratic process is weird, America.

this is spot on. I would 100% rather have Bernie than Hillary, but it's abundantly obvious that Clinton is a way better choice than Trump.

while I ideologically align with Sanders on most issues, there's reason to believe/historical precedent to suggest that he would not have been effective in office. another Jimmy Carter could very well lead to another Ronny Reagan nah mean.

uh-oh 06-10-2016 06:30 AM

boof 06-10-2016 02:11 PM

there's at least 700k provisional ballots still being counted in california, along with at least 1.8 million mail in's and drop offs, that's twice as many votes as the results at the end of election night

Witty 06-10-2016 04:31 PM

Boof, my friend, it's over.
