Im the same size as knuck except i can only bench like half that. Ive never been a weight room guy.

Just saying this to let you all know i would body all of you handily.

After a little googling 3 women in 2013 completed some basic marine training thing but were barred from serving because they couldnt pass some extra physica tests

In 2015 2 women made it to the end of some other training but failed during the physical endurance portion

So basically its to make women feel equal and crush there dreams when they realize its impossible for them to do what the average infantrymen can do.

So word bags is right its just some PR nonsense, and witty is correct as well if they cant do it, they cant do it. Theyre not making it like police and firefighters where women can pass with lowered standards

I think everybody here basically agrees. Women shouldn't be barred from combat roles BECAUSE they are women, but standards shouldn't be lowered so they can get in. Combat units should be comprised of fitter than average men and the occasional buff af woman.

Also it does emphasize that standards won't be lowered to meet quotas. So I don't see a prob with this then.

I watched Ultimate Hell Week, a show where civilians go through the toughest parts of training from all the worlds best special forces and there was this one redhead chick who was thin, short, and looked pretty weak, but she was beasting that shit...and it was no joke either, I would have died. I dunno if she won cuz I didn't see the last episode, but I'm sure she was very close.

It's been shown that women can do well in combat (see kurdish women soldiers kicking ISIS' ass for more details). The problem lies within morale. Men will fight over women, that is fact unfortunately. Once you have a woman weaving her way through a platoon it is like a cancer. Same as any workplace really.

This is the whole conflict with trying to integrate women into submarine duty.

I've seen it first hand. Niggas get EXTRA stupid when women were around. ESPECIALLY the senior enlisted dudes. Smh.

I agree. Women should just stay out of the workplace. Men can't possibly be expected to behave like professionals around them.
