Yea i use the mpc through FL tho

I basically just run the mpc software as a vst. Lay out sequences like patterns in fl and once the basic beat is made i use fl for the finishing it out. Mixing filtering and extra shit like the cymbals in that one.

Only thing i really cut out is sound forge. Mainly cuz i chop on the fly now instead of chopping everything before even starting if that makes sense

the only problem with samples i find, is they dont have as much variation as the ones you post lol, so its not really battle worthy or anything but im bout to flip that yoshio thing even though its mad familiar.

im back to embracing my looping ways, and just mixing it up by like having a two bar loop and maybe a 1 beat chop spliced into the end of it for variation lol, or like building a loop from taking open parts. recreating the initial melodies and shit lol

i wanna get away from all these library and everything else and get back into soul but i feel i've picked through pretty much everything so nothing feels fresh. but i like getting vocals and shit involved. thats my only problem with library soundtracks and instrumental shit.
