i'm looking to get a logo, a "watermark", a banner and generally give my page a facelift

i left a couple ideas in the OP but i'm generally leaving it up to you guys to throw me some ideas and then i'll pick the ones im most happy with

for the avatar logo, something clean and in a bright colour - blood red maybe? instantly and easily definable

might use that same logo for the actual watermark but would need it to be transparent in background

dont know if anyone else is gonna do it before me or whatever but ill take a look when I have time and when im in the mood

It would be easier if you just sent a message when you have something in mind and what kind of pages (home, blog, bio, movies, contact, whatever) you want (or if you want them at all), should it be minimalistic in design, is it important for you for it to be responsive, is it being easy to use as a blog of importance, more than 1 user to add content or not etc. Ye, generally just when you know what you want out of it before I start any work I normally charge people for. :p

It's easier to establish a proper website once your identity profile is complete as well, because then I can just go off the color scheme etc. and the website will match with previously done work.
