what it is, is debris or something big enough to block something like 20% of the light that this star should be giving off. So, it seems like maybe some artificial object is present which is big enough to block out that much light. But, the light we are looking at, is the light from 1500 years ago. Meaning that whatever is there NOW, is 1500 years into the future of what we can see. |
