s'What you're wife said, B

hahaha

You're a faggot. @Amen Lol.

So yo, who thinks we can bend space/time and travel at Warp Speed? Or better yet, who thinks we will find Extraterrestrial life, whether it be microbial or intelligent, in the next 10 years?

I am really hopeful about the chance of microbial life on one of Jupiter's Moons (maybe Europa)...or Saturn's.

oats 08-27-2015 12:04 PM

at one point we thought we found microbial life on a damp moon in the inner solar system. turned out, the telescope was actually facing Ireland, and it was just Witty's weiner =/

@Amen singling out my post out of the 10 here, calling me nerdboy. FOH.

Can't directly examine any subatomic particles in studying quantum physics. It doesn't make the results any less valid. Theoretical means relating to the principles at play as opposed to studying their applications. Literally every scientific/chemical/physical/astronomical discovery is based on how things interact. That's called evidence. We can directly test for gravity. We still can't explain why it exists and it's literally everywhere. We're swimming in evidence and it's less explained than something so far away that humans couldnt reach it in 50 generations. Most people accept Newton's gravitational model and it's literally proven wrong, but that's not strange

Most people are just afraid of foreign ideas because they can't pretend to understand them at the same depth as something right at their fingertips

agreed up until this point; we're pretty damn good at pretending to understand things.

Witty 08-27-2015 12:18 PM

I pretend to understand oats when he talks about korea stuff because I want to come across as cultured and a man-of-the-world type.

There are many, surprisingly, especially Chinese people.

Where I live, over the last 5 years or so, there has been a huge influx of Chinese people, for reasons which are currently unclear to me.

I think the word 'theory' has a different connotation to non-science folk than it does to science folk.

In science terms, a theory has already gone through a lot of tested variables - and worked - before it's even been classified as a theory.
