you have to apply, its a shit process where you got to send game play footage as well as design documents to microsoft and sony. wait for ages for them to tell you if you are denied or not. but if you get apprvoed then you got to buy a developers kit which is like buying a new ps4 or etc but with development capabilities, just recently got approved for microsoft so not sure if there going to make me buy another console but sony did.

then it gets set up to where you set up release date and price and etc and I had to sign agreements where I can not discuss how much they get off the game.
