@Vulgar: Is there only going to be topic/quote-rounds and not set form-rounds such as haikus/sonnettes/etc? I'm thinking a lot of shit that has to do with poetry gets lost in translation without some of these rounds as well, specially for those that don't even know what poetry is may end up just writing some topical shit without being challenged in poetry with strict rules and regulations. Take a look here for what I'm thinking: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/lear...orms-and-types

I was think the same thing. But i also think we should let this season pan out. Let the activity flow in. Then easily introduce these other formats into the weeks ahead. Ofcourse vulgar has the ultimate say.

Vulgar 06-27-2015 10:26 PM

@Objective

Yeah I think we should definitely experiment with different forms of poetry and introduce some non-poetry writers to it as well. Or perhaps we could have a recurring themed week where you have the choice to use whichever format you choose off of that specific page, or other similar pages with a wide variety.

Good idea.

Let's give it a try in a couple of weeks, as Innovator said.

Im not completely positive I know what my poetry should look like but I'll try to write depending on all the criteria and whatever barricades the league defends.. I'm just going to try to enhance my ability as a writer on netcees
