It's terrible. More expensive than Giant with the same or worse shit. It wants so much to be Wegman's but isn't even close.

teeter has been around way longer than wegman's.

the kroger buyout a year and a half ago has ruined a lot of what made them great though. eliminated a lot of in house brands, bulk fresh produce and meat options, a LOT of coupon and/or sale deals, etc.

i do love wegman's and would kill for them. until then, our options around here are (mostly) teeter, publix, bi-lo, walmart. food lion is on life support and piggly wiggly shut down just about everywhere (i miss the pig!).

teeter is golf cart distance from my house so that's where we shop.

Yeah, I know Harris Teeter has been Charlotte's grocer for years. I mostly was focused on the prepared foods, where their options and layout bear a striking resemblance to a much shittier version of Wegman's.

I've heard Publix is the way to go, but there aren't nearly as many. It's mostly Food Lion and Harris Teeter.
