Yeah I didn't want to do averages. The philosophy was "keep it simple, stupid." My intent was unlimited bars and let everybody go at it. I left the thread open for awhile too. Some ppl took advantage of it, some didn't.

In reading the 30-point lines, I think like four of them were "Attack" plays and one was the "insert" play. This was my favorite line, though:

Muff was widely recognized as in a very strong second tier back in the days when text battling was at its peak in terms of participation and quality competition. But he's fallen off, and the expectations for complexity have increased with the influx of long-bar people (who generally suck at wording but have good concepts).

Reading old battles remains enjoyable because the writing was so much more charismatic and there were more people with more unique styles. namix wrote nothing like Fracture, and neither wrote anything like Resin MIC, and none of those of those guys wrote like Himself. But now the emphasis seems to be 99% on concepts, which sucks.

Lol. No. After next week's champ match is voted on and closed, then he will either defend twice or if there is a new champ he will defend against you. The week will not progress until that match is over with. You will have 2 days to drop, same as replacement battle.

With YDK's contendership match he will get an automatic spot in week 17, as week 16 is being hashed out this week.

What hurt Muff was alot of his bars, you can tell he was just thinking of something real quick and getting it out there. His setups were super basic. Had he spent a little bit longer on the setups it would have been worth it as the concepts were pretty good.

The Brown Recluse bar didn't score high bc of the "stung" part. They bite. They don't sting. Lol. But it was dope. A really dope concept.
