Read both. Love fischer.

I'd smash D'Angelo. he didn't even mention the bishop or knight. I'd like to see him explain how to correctly castle or en passant. inner city education, I tell you...

For those wondering (probably no one), the Sunday shutout rule (goes from 8-0 to 5-0) won't be enforced until I get to work tomorrow afternoon.

Still, the battles most in need of votes are sacrifice vs. Frank, Diode vs. neutral and dyedinthewool vs. timeless.

Objective 03-02-2014 03:27 AM

This is the last day for voting, right? Going to get my votes in today.

I just looked it up. You were 5-6 entering this week, so you'll be 6-6 when I update everyone for this week's records. I'm going to be doing that all at once and don't want to screw myself up, so I updated you to 5-6.

Now that it's evident that I lost and I can speak freely, I just want to say that the verse I wrote this week might be among my personal favs in a topical. I managed to do exactly what I wanted to do and I seldom do that. Although it didn't get any votes I demolished the topic to its full extent and I'm satisfied with that result, the fact that all the votes focused on basicly completely different things in my verse shows my personal success. I had 2-3 other approaches that would have been better from a voters/readers pov, but I liked this one quite a bit. :)

Not going to repeat that kind of approach as wild as I did this week I think (so, no worries!), but I really enjoyed it.

I LOST BECAUSE I NO SHOWED?! WTF! THIS IS STUPID. I SHOULD BE 0-0, NOT 0-1. NO SHOW ISN'T A LOSS. I DON'T LOSE, EVEN WHEN I LOSE.

Certain 03-02-2014 07:02 PM

Y'all are Destroying this league.

dull boy 03-02-2014 07:09 PM

lol good one. I'm sad that I get a NC's inside joke.

Certain 03-02-2014 07:56 PM

I take it this means you'd like to stay in.

dull boy 03-02-2014 08:02 PM

Yeah.

But, I voted purely for contribution... did I need to vote, not having a battle and all? I had half a verse written this week, just started late and rusty.

I appreciate all of the votes & critique of my work this week. I wasn't able to round off my story as I'd like but I shook some long time rust off. Good match @Vulgar. Voting now, gents.

Vulgar 03-02-2014 09:52 PM

@King Ra.

Good match.

Remember back when people used to write things in public bathroom stalls? Does that still happen? I feel like Sharpies are disappearing at a rapid rate.

Certain 03-02-2014 10:17 PM

I will be casting any required tie-breaking votes this week.

that's what I like about writing topicals as opposed to battle verses. Even when I lose, I can still be stoked on what I wrote for a long time.
