I don't think there's much chance El Pancake will enjoy Discovery as much as Random Access Memories, only partly because the latter is a significantly better album. Discovery is very good but falls right into the EDM genre El Pancake usually avoids. Random Access Memories is a deconstructionist techno album with disco and synth pop at its core. It also is a much more emotional album, and El Pancake has mad feels.

Mike Wrecka beat me in my third battle here. I've beaten him twice since.

My feels ratio has gone down quite significantly since I've stopped "drinking" "Jack Daniels" "every night"

It's a phenomena I'm not sure I'm comfortable with.

Discovery is legendary.

Discovery is rife with emotion, cake will get down on it. and lol@ "significantly better." maybe "possibly" or "arguably" were the words you were looking for? It's a masterpiece of pop music, though I do concede that it is more electro funk than RAM, which may be a turn off. but it's far from rave music, more of a top 40 orgy of catchy hooks and sounds.
