Yes. For Oktoberfest. From what I recall, it goes from the end of September through October... and happens all over the country. But, Munich is the epicenter. It’s pretty insane. I’ve never been to Mardi Gras or Carnival, but it’d be hard to imagine more drunk people than I saw at Oktoberfest. Literally thousands of people blackout drunk running around at 10 am.

And the food is amazing.

The rest of Germany is kinda meh. Berlin looks like the entire city was built in the 1950s using concrete slabs. (Probably, because it was.)

I actually prefer Austria to Germany, and it’s right next door. It’s like Germany light, with older architecture that survived the war. Salzburg is amazing. So is Vienna.
