I don't find Michael cera very funny at all. He's on par with deschanel or w/e, just not nearly as pleasant to look at.

Have you watched Arrested Development? Superbad? The Alexander Hamilton episode of the original Drunk History? You're embarrassing yourself.

I have. Not saying he isn't involved with funny productions, but seldom is he a source of the comedy. If anything, he was most tolerable in Superbad and arrested development, but that's because his shtick hadn't gotten old yet.

Anyone holding new girl and cera on two different standards needs to look in the mirror and take a deep breath before reflecting in a dark room. Same person, just one is female and attractive and the other is a dweeby exo skeleton of a man.

I think New Girl is a good show. I think Zooey Deschanel is a mediocre-to-bad actress. Those are separate, albeit related, thoughts.

Michael Cera is a very good actor in the roles that he gets cast to play.

I agree with oats on micheal cera tbh, he was funny at first but got old quick. and after seeing him in Juno when I suffered through that atrocity for some average pussy....he's just boring as shit and every expression is the same

Oats is correct. Michael Cera's fame is the product of circumstance and situation. He himself is mediocre as one can possibly be. Everyone worse than him is not funny and everyone better than him is funny. He is the Mendoza Line of comedy. He is as milquetoast as is tolerable and your defending of him, Certain, is confounding and, if I dare say so, a bit damning in my eyes.
