I'd say I've probably been upset with half my losses in general. That's how I feel here, too. I still can't figure out what happened in my first loss.

But I hold no grudges against voters nor against opponents after I lose. I like the votes against me because I can take the criticism and use it to make my next drop better.

S'all about elevating, man. You the Zenmaster. You should know this!!!

I disagree. I refuse to believe my writing is anything less than perfect...Lol but on the real I get upset when I'm voted against and ill look at some criticism and if I agree with it ill change it, if I don't I ain't changing shit lol.

Btw this weeks topic is kickin my ass.

YDK 10-24-2013 08:00 PM

@Certain You didn't get enough votes lol

Lol I'm the same way man, like "those fucks completely missed the point to that entire verse how can I trust anything else they say"

Mr. J 10-24-2013 08:14 PM

2 votes down @Certain...I'm going to need that ext.

reality beckons

King Ra. 10-24-2013 08:24 PM

@Certain @symetrik going to need an extension.

symetrik 10-24-2013 08:30 PM

Oh, you posted in here. Hmm.
I'll allowed ext. this time, no biggy.

For future reference, I don't allow extensions.

Certain 10-24-2013 08:33 PM

@symetrik, this site's standard policy is extensions are automatically granted upon request. It took some getting used to for me, too.

Grimy, do not dig. Why not just deadline Friday, then?

However, you're good to go King Ra, mandatory or not. Good luck, bruv.

Vulgar 10-24-2013 08:46 PM

Dropped. @Lexicon

Mike Wrecka 10-24-2013 08:56 PM

@symetrik , if the dead line was Friday people would ask for an extension till Saturday.

the dead line was designed to make Friday the absolute latest a verse could be dropped.

the reward for two opponents dropping early is extra feed and votes. the battles that open first almost always receive the most votes.

Aight, I see it. Still, gross.
Ain't no brownie points for my opponents that be extending.

every fucking time lol. every week i just dumb shit down more.

Zen 10-24-2013 09:20 PM

Extensions are necessary. My week has been shit and tbh the last thing I've felt like doing is writing. Tomorrow, on the extension day, I'll get some peace and quiet and finally be able to write. Lets never do colors again btw. I'm drawing blanks on this shit.

Same here man, a complex rhyme scheme isn't noticed but a mediocre one is told to be more complex, metaphors are missed but straight forwardness is told to use more metaphors. Tis a shame

PancakeBrah 10-24-2013 10:49 PM

'Complex' metaphors that are complex just to be so are more of the problem. Most people writing here aren't that adept to pull it off. When it is done people respect it. I think people overrate their own ability to be deep.

YDK 10-24-2013 10:55 PM

I think every one here is perfectly capable of pulling off deep metaphors but picking up on metaphors within a metaphor is the area some are slacking in tbh. Or they're so quick to say something is too blunt without trying to look deeper.

Split 10-24-2013 10:58 PM

I dont care for metaphor

Certain 10-24-2013 10:59 PM

I'm going to actually write tonight. But right now I'm giving a second listen to this:

Totally agree, I usually read the verses at least 3 times and end up picking up on new things, do the vote and then read the other people's and often realize I still missed some things.
