RHYME would have a much better chance of working out here than on PR but i think the website nativists would have a fit if we began a RHYME tournament here..

What was different about RHYME compared to AoWL?

well for one, it's a tournament not a league

and from what i gather it's just been a tradition for so long on PR / whatever the original site was that it built a legacy based on it's very high levels competition. also they had awesome fucking mags every week. (which AOWL also has)

This, and the fact that there wasn't a single weak link in the bunch. It was strictly top tier.

The mags were dope because they were super in-depth, you could read them over the course of a few days.
