I'll check the vid later. The problem I have with new country is their obnoxious overly southern accents. I live in Mississippi and have met maybe four people who've had accents as bad as country singers. It kinda makes a mockery of the whole genre imo.

It's like any genre… I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the pop songs that come on the radio, but obviously I prefer other artists.

With country, I like the popular shit because its catchy and whatever.. but there's plenty of acts out there still making real music at the same time.

Zac Brown is a very good modern country artist. I was trying to think of another but couldn't think of one lol. But yeah you're right about it being the same in other genres. I guess I really just hate it because I live down here and it makes me look like a stereotype nawmsayin?

I liked Zac Brown until he started his country beef with Luke Bryan… who, for me, is the best country artist out right now because of his appeal. People hate him and Florida Georgia Line because they personify Bro Country, which has gotten a really bad rap these days, but at the end of the day it's all about drinking and having fun.. which are among my top interests.

For me, country is the only true genre that is solely about storytelling. No other musical genre can match that. And since we're in the business of telling stories, I embrace it wholeheartedly.

Bro Country is all the popular music about beer, girls, and trucks that all the country traditionalists get up in arms about. Look at Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, etc.

I don't treat leagues like BA....this isn't a troll, I never sign in unless I intend on showing.

I no showed last week due to unforeseen circumstances, I appreciate the dedication required to run a league, I've ran a few myself over the years, so I always try to keep my word, which is why I showed for both battles in the winter tournament even though I was rusty as fuck and couldn't think of shit, I'll be posting this week.

I have yet to start as well and just did 3 dilaudids, so yeah same story

Plus i got to charge this tablet bc aint no way im writing on half a touch screen that auto corrects/predicts everything incorrectly

N i cant charge it w the keyboard attached...so i gotta wait 4 it to decently charge b4 i can attach keyboard b4 i can write

Not to mention the sht has froze on me 3x in the past 2 hrs, one time (just recently) costing me a whole bunch of sht i just typed (an elaborate recount of my whole kidnapping/getting the car stolen/psych ward, which i was intending on posting in the private ATR subforum to answer a question) and now have lost 4ever...due to being forced to reboot, yet again.

But @Just Write i have the same outlook as witty, when i sign in i truly intend on posting, in fact all of my recent no shows were due to IRL craziness that has prohibited me from posting like getting arrested, or being held for observation, but i always intend on showing... ive jst been joking w witty about it bc of our recent boarding activity (or lack of.)
