can I/barter on the dates/times for next season?

i really want to participate but I have 2 jobs now and have been working 12 hour days. I would love to participate but I need a full weekend day open to do so so I have to have my topic by then.

Or i can sign in as an alias and hope you dont merge my record for speed writing. whatever.

Tag me please I dont sign in often

This I am open to doing. It'll probably be better to leave the weekend open to writing. After labor day weekend, I will have a basic rough draft done and will get suggestions from everyone to mull over.

Due dates on Mondays would be ideal or nah? Battles go up Thursday at midnight?

Certain 08-28-2014 07:25 PM

I'd say verses due Tuesdays, votes due Thursdays, battles up either Thursday nights or at least by early Friday afternoon.

King Ra. 08-28-2014 08:39 PM

Tuesdays/Thursdays sound really good.

Adonis 08-30-2014 03:03 AM

I dont give a fuck either way

As long as it is known I crash around 9pm weekdays and really aint around on the weekends, ironic cuz it's Friday night and i'm typing this.

Just saying these are time limitations in editing threads/closing/mags/topics and shit.

Adonis 08-30-2014 03:05 AM

also @Certain

I will say you made a bad call last season on posting on time or late by a few minutes regarding witty? and shit.

Would be fine, but you then backtracked the following week. I did the same with Puke, he should have not been able to advance.

uh-oh 08-30-2014 10:11 AM

why wouldnt due dates be on sunday? cuz people don't vote during the week?

No. None of what you said is correct.

I am so hungover

Adonis 08-30-2014 12:36 PM

Everything I've ever said is correct

Six half-drunk music thoughts:

1. Whoever introduced David Byrne and Brian Eno deserves a Nobel Prize.

2. Rumours was a hell of an album regardless of how many songs get overplayed.

3. I can Shmoney Dance all over 'em.

4. Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová made some good songs together, but that shit is weird.

5. Wu-Tang Clan's first seven releases, ranked: 1. Liquid Swords, 2. Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, 3. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx ..., 4. Return to the 36 Chambers, 5. Iron Man, 6. Forever, 7. Tical.

6. Stevie Wonder owned the 1970s.

Certain 08-31-2014 02:35 AM

THAT'S OUR NEXT DISCUSSION TOPIC: Rank your 10 favorite Wu-Tang Clan albums. Mine:

1. Liquid Swords
2. Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers
3. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx ...
4. Supreme Clientele
5. Return to the 36 Chambers
6. Fishscale
7. Iron Man
8. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II ...
9. Forever
10. No Said Date

Does Gravediggaz count as Wu-Tang Clan? If so, 6 Feet Deep is on my list.

@Mike Wrecka is going to put Golden Arms Redemption at No. 1.

Good call on Gravediggaz. I would also add Heist Of The Century by La The Darkman and Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars by Killarmy.

Mike Wrecka 09-01-2014 10:35 AM

I left Tical off my list completely. it was a great album when it dropped but has zero replay value for me

Judgement day is the best Method Man album

and I wish I could have found a spot for Rza - Bobby Digital , I love that shit

trap 09-02-2014 06:42 AM

1. Enter...
2. Liquid Swords
3. Only Built...
4. Return...
5. Tical

It gets tricky here..
Counting Wu affiliates now...

6. 6 feet deep
7. Heavy Mental
8. Silent Weapons
9. The Pillage
10. The Genuine Article
