What I may judge as successful, you may not, and vice versa
Perception is all that life is, be it beauty, success, or happiness.
So, if he considers that success, to him, you don’t get to define that.

There are societal standards of success and purpose.

Those things can make him happy sure, but you don’t get to go around calling people worse than you based on a childish scale of your own just because success is a relative term.
